A contract from Hall Ambulance, Inc., to provide an analysis of the economic impact of additional service providers within the Greater Bakersfield service area on economic efficiency and the public welfare resulting in a  monograph entitled  Monopoly, Duopoly, Competition, and the Public Interest:  A Case Study of  Ambulance Services in Kern County, published by Hall Ambulance, 2000;

A contract from JTS Construction, Inc., to provide an analysis of the economic impact of  their business activities resulting in a monograph entitled Employment and Income Multipliers in Kern County: The Construction Industry, published by  JTS Construction, Inc., 2000;

A grant from the California State University, Institute for Teaching and Learning to create and present a Teleconference Symposium entitled Distance Learning Teaching Techniques Symposium to selected faculty from the San Jose State University and California State University Bakersfield in a live two way synchronous mode, 1995;

A contract from Destec and Dow Chemical Corporation to evaluate the economic impact of a co-generation plant resulting in a monograph entitled The Economic Impact of a Cogeneration Plant in Kern County published by Destec, 1994;

A contract from the Kern Delta Water District to establish the value of the Kern River Island Entitlement resulting in a monograph entitled Economic Analysis and Valuation of Kern Delta Water District's Kern River Island Entitlement (co-author) published by Kern Delta Water District, 1993;

A contract from Gibson Environmental, Inc., to provide a prognosis for the California Economy through the end of the century resulting in a monograph entitled Economic Outlook, California 2000, published by Gibson Environmental, Inc., 1993;

A contract from the California State University to evaluate the potential economic impact of a School of Engineering resulting in a monograph entitled The Economic Impact of a School of Engineering at CSU, Bakersfield published by the CSUB Office of the President, 1993;

A project from the Bakersfield Police Department to evaluate the economic effects of various  proposed methods to provide towing services within the city resulting in a monograph entitled City Tow Service: A California Study (co-author), published by the Bakersfield Police Department, 1992;

A contract from the County of Kern to develop an individualized Housing Component for the Consumer Price Index and to incorporate that Housing Component into the CPI for use by the County Administration (co-author) resulting in a monograph entitled Kern County Consumer Price Index Project, published by the Center for Economic Education and Research, California State University, Bakersfield, 1990;

A contract from Belridge Farms, Giumarra Farms, and Superior Farms to conduct a statistical and economic study of Red Beaut Plum Marketing Strategies and their economic effects resulting in a monograph entitled A Study of California "Red Beaut" Plums, 1987, published by the California Tree Fruit Agreement, Plum Committee, 1987;

A contract from the California City Government to conduct a study of the economic base of California City and to develop al plan for future development resulting in a monograph entitled California City Development Plan and Economic Base Study (co- author) published by the Center for Business and Economic Research, California State University, 1977;

A contract from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to prepare the anticipated economic impact of a proposed Nuclear Power Plant resulting in a multi-volume monograph entitled Revised Draft Environmental Impact Report for the San Joaquin Nuclear Power Plant published by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, 1977;

A grant from the California State University and Colleges to study the concept of Credit by Evaluation for Money and Banking (co-author) resulting in a monograph entitled An Analysis and Evaluation of the CLEP Subject Examination in Money and Banking, 1975, published by the CSUC Chancellor's Office, 1975;

A contract from the Kern Chapter of the Sierra Club to evaluate the economic impact of the proposed Tejon Ranch Lake Project resulting in monograph entitled "The Tejon Ranch Lake Project: An Evaluation of its Impact on Kern County Taxpayers" (co-author) published by Systems Management Associates, 1972; and,

A grant from Resources for the Future to study the impact of the construction of a road on the eastern side of the Sierra Negra in Peru resulting in a monograph entitled The Carretera Bolivariana Marginal de la Selva: An Inventory and Evaluation published by Resources for the Future, 1969.
